The Full citation page displays the full details of a International Index to Performing Arts article.

What information does a full citation for an article contain?
Full citations contain the following information (where available):
- Author
- Title
- Translated title -if the article is in a foreign language
- Reference - this consists of the journal title, the volume and issue of the journal containing the article and the page range. A Go to journal record link is displayed next to the title to enable you to jump straight to the journal record. A Go to journal issue link is shown next to the volume and issue information to allow you to jump straight to the relevant journal issue.
- Alternative title - if the journal has previously been published with a different title it will be listed here.
- Abstract - a brief description of the article
- Document type
- Special features - any graphics e.g. diagrams, illustrations, photographs contained within the article will be listed here
- Broad subject (formerly Subject Categories)
- Narrow subject (formerly Subject Terms)
- Publisher
- Country of Publication
- Language
- ISSN
- Notes
- E-journals

Links to Naxos Music Library content
If you are subscribed to Naxos Music Library and have Naxos linking enabled, you will see additional links displayed in the Narrow Subject field. These link to pages within the Naxos Music Library site containing information about composers.
Note: all Naxos links open in a new browser window. Once within the Naxos Music Library, subscribers can access additional Naxos material such as composer biographies and recordings of works by various artists, composers and orchestras.
Navigate between the full citation and other items in the list of results
If you have accessed a full citation from a search results page, links to the previous and next result in the list will be displayed at the top of the page, click a link to open the full citation for that result. To return to the search results page click the Back to results link in the side panel.
Hit Highlighting
When the full citation has been accessed directly from a Search Results page, hit highlighting is used to identify your search terms within the record. Hits are shown with a bright yellow background.
Access to Full Text
JSTOR Full Text
If you a JSTOR subscriber and have requested JSTOR linking to be enabled and full text is available from JSTOR a link will be shown in the full citation which will take you to the full text within the JSTOR site. E.g.

Project MUSE Full Text
If you are a Project MUSE subscriber and have requested Project MUSE linking to be activated and full text is available from Project MUSE a link will be shown in the full citation which will take you to the document on the Project Muse site. E.g.

OpenURL linking
If outbound OpenURL linking has been enabled for your institution, an additional link will appear below the full citation. Click on this link to forward the article details to your institution's link resolver which will look for the article in other services.

Adding a full citation to the Marked List
You can add a full citation to the Marked List so that you can collect together several documents ready for emailing, printing or downloading during your session on International Index to Performing Arts. To do this:
- Click the Add to Marked List checkbox at the top of the page so that the checkbox appears checked
The background color will change to indicate that the full citation has been added to Marked List and the total number of items in Marked List will be shown next to the Marked List link at the top of the page. - If you want to remove the full citation from Marked List click the checkbox so that it appears unchecked
The orginal background color will be restored and the total number of items will change to reflect that an item has been removed
You can view items in the Marked List at any time by following the Marked List link at the top of the page.
Link back to the full citation for an article
You can obtain the durable link for a full citation by clicking the Durable URL link in the side panel at the right of the page. A pop-up window will open displaying the URL; you can copy and paste it into your documents and email.
Use the email link in the side panel at the right of the page to go to the Email page which contains a form to enable you to email the full citation.
Note: to email more than one citation at a time you will need to use Marked List or My Archive.
You can print the full citation you are currently viewing in one of the following ways:
- Click the Print view link in the side panel at the right of the page.
This will take you to a Print view page which displays the full citation without any of the site navigation, as it will appear when you print it out. There are some options available on the Print view page to modify how the record is displayed for printing.
OR - Use the print button in your browser.
Download a citation
Use the Download citation link to go to the Download page where you can choose the format of the full citation for downloading to your computer.
This page provides options for you to download the record in plain text format, download in a format compatible with ProCite, EndNote, Reference Manager and RefWorks or export directly to ProCite, EndNote, Reference Manager or RefWorks.
Save a full citation to My Archive
You can save a full citation to My Archive for future reference.
- Click on the Save to My Archive link in the side panel to the right of the page
- If you are already logged into My Archive, you will be taken to the Saved Items page where the citation for your article will be listed in the Articles section.
- If you are not logged into My Archive, you will need to enter your username and password before you can proceed.
